Our housekeeping teams can collect your laundry, clean and iron it off-site, and return it to your home in a timely manner, leaving you with a neat and tidy wardrobe with freshly washed and ironed clothes and linens ready to go. We tailor the service we provide so if you have any allergies to washing detergents or fabric softeners, let us know and we’ll adjust the washing and ironing routine accordingly.

FAQS ABOUT OUR IRONING SERVICES

How are the ironers vetted?

We speak with ironers face-to-face and look over their paperwork to confirm their identity and right to work in the UK. Additionally, we confirm their references and address proof. Each ironer is required to pass our proficiency test. Ironers receive their initial training either with one of our supervisors or at the homes of our management team.

Do you provide the equipment for the ironing service?

You’ll get a list of suggested cleaning products that are necessary for the ironing service. Your equipment will be used by our cleaners to finish the ironing.

Will I have the same ironer each time?

We do our best to provide the same ironer each time and we will provide a replacement if your regular ironer is unwell or goes on holiday.

Is it safe to give my ironer a key?

Yes, most of our customers leave keys to their ironers. All ironers are vetted and have been tested on other jobs before starting providing regular service.

Do you provide ironing service separately or as part of regular cleaning sessions?

You can make a one-time or recurring appointment for our ironing service to have your mountain of clothing and bedding properly folded, ironed, and organised. You can extend your normal cleaning session by a few more hours to include ironing.

What nationality are the cleaners? Do they speak English?

East Europeans make up most of the cleaners. We make sure there is always a cleaner or supervisor who speaks English so you can give them instructions prior to the cleaning. If you have any questions or special requirements regarding the cleaning or the nationality of the cleaners, we encourage you to call our office staff.

Do you have a cancellation fee?

We apply a cancellation fee only if the service is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time or if the customer fails to provide access to the team as previously arranged.
